Roll out from Parkeerplaats Dämmerwald and straight into the Dämmerwald nature reserve, then follow the Quellbachsystem Osterbach and Langefortsbach streams. The Hünxer Bachtal nature reserve leads on to the Stadtkrone viewpoint and Burg Schermbeck castle, before the Lichtenhagen nature reserve turns you back toward the start. Of the 59.7 km, most runs unpaved, with 236 m of climbing along the way.
