From Cancale the road runs out past the Baie du Mont Saint Michel nature reserve, then follows La Banche and rolls on to two windmills, the Colinassière and number 1. Next come the Canal de la Banche and the Manoir des Beauvais castle before the route enters the Vallée de la Rance nature reserve. The Château de Saint-Malo marks the last stop on this 85.3 km loop, almost all of it paved, with 508 m of climbing along the way.
