Roll out of Toulx-Sainte-Croix and the road soon brings you past the Maison forte du Fressineau, a castle standing quietly by the route. Further on, the ride follows the La Voueize river and later passes the Château de Périgord and the Château de la Dauge, castle after castle. The Le Verraux river and its ruisseau keep you company before the loop turns for home. All 87.9 km are paved, with 943 m of climbing along the way.
