The ride

Roll out of Maison-Dieu and let the ride unfold along the water: first the Serein river, then the Armançon, and a bras of the Armançon as the route keeps following the current. Along the way the Château d'Époisses rises beside the road, a castle worth a glance before you turn for home. With 77.4 km ahead and 646 m of climbing, the day builds gently, and every metre of it is paved. Back to Maison-Dieu it is, with the rivers behind you.
