The ride

Roll out of Le Portel and follow La Liane, the river that sets your early rhythm. Then it's into the Parc naturel régional des Caps et marais d'Opale, where the climbing adds up to 768 m across the route. The Le Wimereux and La Slack rivers keep you company on the way back, with just a sliver of unpaved track under your wheels. A loop that starts and finishes in the same village, river by river.
