The ride

Roll out of Saint-Leu-la-Forêt and the route soon slips into the Parc naturel régional Oise-Pays de France, a nature reserve that sets the tone. Next come two forests in turn, Forêt de L'Isle-Adam and Forêt de Carnelle, before the ride closes with the Réserve biologique dirigée de la Tourbière du Nid d'Aigle, another nature reserve. Of the 56.5 km, most runs unpaved, and 754 m of climbing keeps the legs honest. Then it's back to the start village.
