The ride

Roll out of Menfi and let the road carry you 78.1 km through the Belice valley. You cross the Fiume Belice and later the Fiume Modione, two rivers that break up the climbing nicely. With 850 m of elevation gain spread across the loop, the legs get a proper workout. Every metre is paved, so the wheels stay on tarmac from start to finish back in Menfi.
