The ride

Roll out of Benndorf and the ride soon slips into the Eislebener Stiftsholz nature reserve, then past Burg Bornstedt and Burg Beyernaumburg. The Othaler Wald and the Gipskarstlandschaft Pölsfeld follow, before Burg Freckleben marks the way home. Just over 95 km, almost all of it paved.
