A 75.8 km loop that rolls out of Carcassonne and back again. You leave town past the historic fortified city, then follow the Ruisseau de Bazalac and the Lauquet along their courses. Castles mark the way at Leuc and Cavanac, and the Bastion de Montmorency stands near the end before you return to Carcassonne. All of it is paved, with 805 m of climbing spread across the ride.
