The ride

Here's a 39.8 km ride that's fully paved, so you can leave the gravel tyres at home. With 629 m of climbing, it rolls along country roads for 53% of the way, plus 22% residential and 12% tertiary roads. A quarter of the route runs on protected cycleways or bike-network roads, and none of it puts you on busy roads above 50 km/h without a cycle path. Enjoy the pedalling!
