The ride

Roll out of Saint-Ouen-des-Alleux and let the route carry you past the Château de la Bélinaye, a castle on the way, before the road brings you to La Minette, a river, and then back to where you started. Of the 65.5 km, roughly half runs unpaved, so expect a mix of surfaces under your wheels. With 446 m of climbing spread across the loop, the ride keeps a gentle rhythm from start to finish.
