Gravel loop along the Sarre

The ride

Roll out of Sarrebourg and the route soon slips into the Parc naturel régional de Lorraine, a nature reserve that sets the tone for the day. From there it's on past the Étang de Gondrexange and the Étang du Stock, two lakes that break up the ride nicely. The Sarre river joins the story before the loop brings you back to Sarrebourg, with 59.1 km and a mix of paved and unpaved surface underfoot.
