The ride

From Plonévez-Porzay you roll out toward the Armorique nature reserve, then follow the Aulne and the Steir rivers through the Breton countryside. The route mixes paved and unpaved stretches and climbs steadily, passing the castle of Manoir de Moëllien before looping back to the start village. Sixty and a half kilometres, with the hills doing their share of the talking along the way.
