Roll out of Blaye and the Citadelle de Blaye is right there, a castle at the start of your loop. From there the route swings past the Parc naturel marin de l'Estuaire de la Gironde et de la Mer des Pertuis, a nature reserve, before the Château des Rudel, another castle, comes into view. Of the 61.4 km, 45% runs unpaved, so expect a mix under your wheels. Then it's back to Blaye to close the circle.
