The ride

Roll out of Montrichard Val de Cher and the route soon leaves the paved behind, with most of the 58.9 km running unpaved. On the way you pass the Donjon de Montrichard, a castle, before following the Cher, the river that shapes this loop. A modest 291 m of climbing keeps things rolling as you head back to where you started.
