The ride

Roll out of Dömitz and straight into the Biosphärenreservat Flusslandschaft Elbe, a nature reserve where the Elbe river sets the tone. Past the castle Festung Dömitz you follow the Löcknitz and the Alte Elde, with 49.8 km and 133 m of climbing ahead. Most of it runs unpaved, so let the surface decide your pace. Then it's back to Dömitz.
