The ride
Roll out of Cabañas Raras and follow the Canal Alto del Bierzo before the road climbs into the Reserva de la Biosfera de los Ancares Leoneses. From the nature reserve it drops toward the Río Cúa, then tracks the Río Ancares, with 1104 m of climbing spread across 69.1 km of paved surface. The loop then brings you back to where you started.
