Castles through the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse

The ride

This ride rolls out of Rambouillet and back again, 62.1 km with 350 m of climbing along the way. You pass the Palais du Roi de Rome and the Château de Rambouillet, then head into the green: the Marais du Cerisaie nature reserve and the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse regional nature park. Further on come the Houssine and Mare aux Buttes nature reserves. Most of the route is unpaved, so the surface shifts between paved and unpaved as you go.
