Castles through the Avesnois

The ride

Roll out of Étréaupont on a fully paved loop that keeps the legs turning. The route follows the Vilpion and the Brune, then passes the castles of Saint-Médard and Saint-Évent. After the Oise, the castles of Leschelle and Nouvion come into view before the Avesnois nature reserve. With 662 m of climbing spread across the ride, you finish back where you started.
