Roll out of Roprie and let the castles come to you: first the Logis de la Bréchinie, then Château de Villebois-Lavalette, then Château de la Mercerie. Between them the route follows La Boëme and passes the Moulin à papier de la Courade watermill before La Charreau carries you home. It's 76.8 km with 844 m of climbing, all on paved surface. Three castles, two rivers, one watermill — a fine loop back to where you started.
