Roll out of Fontaine-la-Guyon and let the road carry you past Château de Vérigny and on to Château de Levesville, castle after castle. Then the route follows the Eure, first its bras and then the river itself, before a nature reserve brings the Cathédrale de Chartres into view. All 74.6 km are paved, with 284 m of climbing along the way. The loop then turns you back toward the start village.
