Castles between Gail and Gailitz

The ride

From Bad Bleiberg you roll out toward the Gail river, then past the ruins of Burgruine Straßfried. The route follows the Gailitz and climbs to Burgruine Federaun, with Dinzlschloss as a final castle before the road brings you home. In 73.2 km you gather 1032 m of climbing, almost all of it on paved surface.
