Ride there from home: we find the shortest way to the loop and start the loop from there.

The ride

Roll out of Guissona and the route soon turns rough: most of the 58.6 km runs unpaved. You pass the Roman city of Iesso on the heath, then link castle after castle — Vicfred, the Torre del Moro and Castellfollit — before the Riu de Llanera and the Castell de Biosca. The climbing adds up to 1187 m, and the ride closes along the el Llobregós river back to Guissona.
