Castles along the Meuse

The ride

Roll out of Brieulles-sur-Bar and the castles come first: Château de La Berlière, then Château de Villers. Further on the route crosses the Ruisseau l'Ennemane and follows La Meuse before meeting the Canal de l'Est - Branche Nord. With 733 m of climbing over 81.5 km, all of it paved, the castles at Rémilly and the Wame river round out the loop back to the start.
