Roll out of Weiden in der Oberpfalz and let the ride unfold: first the Schloßberg Flossenbürg nature reserve, then the castle ruin of Flossenbürg, followed by Schloss Friedrichsburg. Onward through the Lerautal bei Leuchtenberg nature reserve, past Schloss Unterwildenau and the Etzenrichter Kirchberg, before the Vogelfreistätte Weiherhammer sends you home. Along the way you climb 1078 m over 84.4 km, almost all of it paved.
