Roll out of Capestang for a 75.0 km loop that stays entirely on paved roads. Soon you pass the Château des archevêques de Narbonne, then follow the Le Lirou river to the Château de Maureilhan. The Canal du Midi carries you onward into the Parc naturel régional de la Narbonnaise en Méditerranée, a nature reserve, before L'Aude leads you home. With 571 m of climbing spread across the route, the castles, canal and rivers keep the ride moving.
