From Caldogno the route rolls out to the Bacchiglione river and on along the Torrente Timonchio, with 59.0 km and 918 m of climbing ahead. You pass through the nature reserve at Vicenza, then follow the Astichello toward a run of castles: Palazzo Schio Vaccari Lioy, Palazzo Sesso Zen, Palazzo Porto and the Palazzo vescovile. With half the route unpaved, it keeps you guessing under the wheels before the ride brings you home to Caldogno.
