Castle loop over the Rambla de Nogalte

The ride

Roll out of Puerto Lumbreras and the climbing begins, on a route that stays paved the whole way round. You pass the Rambla de Nogalte river, then the Casa de los Duendes manor, before the Castillo de Nogalte castle comes into view. With 1127 m of elevation gain packed into the loop, the legs get a proper workout. Back into Puerto Lumbreras you roll, the castle behind you.
