Castle loop from el Masnou

The ride

Roll out of el Masnou and let the road carry you past the Parc de la Serralada Litoral nature reserve, then alongside the Riu Mogent river. Further on you pass Castell Nou and Castell del Far, two castles on one loop, before the Parc del Montnegre i el Corredor nature reserve opens up around you. With 80.4 km ahead and 1173 m of climbing, the route stays paved the whole way. Manors at Can Malet and Masia de la Salle round things off before you roll back into el Masnou.
