The ride
Roll out of Huétor Tájar and follow the Río Genil before the route picks up the Río Cacín. Two castles keep you company along the way, Torre de Tocón and Castillo de Íllora, and between them the climbing adds up to 1113 m. After the Peña de los Gitanos nature reserve, the Torreón de Huétor marks the run back to the start. With 67.5 km all on paved surface, it's a loop that keeps rolling from river to castle to reserve and home again.
