Along the Río Tormes to the Embalse de Almendra

The ride

Roll out of Ledesma and the route soon brings you past the castle La Fortaleza before the road opens toward the Embalse de Almendra lake. From there the Tormes river keeps you company as the kilometres tick by, with 502 m of climbing spread gently across the day. The full loop runs 77.9 km and stays entirely paved, then delivers you back to where you started in Ledesma.
