Roll out from Parkeerplaats Westliche Hainleite straight into the Westliche Hainleite nature reserve, then on through the Hainleite forest. The Wipper river joins the route before you reach the NSG Stadtforst Sondershausen nature reserve and pass Schloß Heringen castle. With 790 m of climbing across 59.9 km, it's a steady day out, and the mix of paved and unpaved keeps it varied. Back to where you started.
