Roll out of Timmendorfer Strand and back again on a loop of just over eighty kilometres, almost all of it paved. The route threads through the Wälder im Pönitzer Seengebiet and the Schwartautal und Curauer Moor, both nature reserves, before passing the Moder Grau windmill. Next come the Kasseedorfer Teiche und Umgebung and the Pönitzer Seengebiet, more nature reserves to round out the ride. With 539 metres of climbing spread across the day, it's a steady tour from start to finish.
