Roll out of Marktoberdorf past the castle and pick up the Schönach, then let the route carry you through a nature reserve along the Lech and its banks near Peiting. Another reserve waits at the Hirschauer Steilhalde and Litzauer Schleife before the Lech itself rides with you. All 73.6 km are paved, with 705 m of climbing to keep the legs honest, and the day loops back to where it began.
