Roll out of Sachsen bei Ansbach and let the ride unfold: past the Heglauer Wasen and Kappelwasen nature reserves, then on to Seckendorffer Schloss and the Wasserschloß Sommersdorf. Through Naturpark Frankenhöhe you spin toward the Scheerweihergebiet bei Schalkhausen, before Burgruine Leonrod and Schloß Bruckberg round out the castles. Almost all of it is paved, with 852 m of climbing across 98.0 km, and the route brings you back to where you started.
