Roll out from Parkeerplaats Hohe Dubrau and past Schloss Kollm, a castle, before the route dips into the Oberlausitzer Heide- und Teichlandschaft nature reserve. Onward through more nature reserves and past Schloss Glossen, Lausker Skala, Gröditzer Skala and Schloss Gröditz, castles and reserves trading places. With 552 m of climbing across 95.8 km, mostly paved, the day rolls back to where it started.
